Club Races   Conditions of Entry and Acceptance:

At each race there will be:

Short Course 250m Swim/9km Ride/2km Run

Long Course 500m Swim/18km Ride/ 4km Run

All races begin at Ollie Robbins Oval (near corner of Bligh + Church Streets Dubbo) with registration and race briefing compulsory for all competitors.

Club races start at 8:00am; Interclubs start at 9:00am.

Senior $30.00 Rego
$10.00 per Race

Junior $10.00 Rego
$ 5.00 per Race

(Junior is Under 19 Yrs)

Family $50.00 Rego
Max $20.00 per Race

Race Rules
Triathlon Australia race rules apply, as do general road rules.

Roads used for cycling WILL NOT be closed to traffic, therefore NSW Road and Traffic Authority road rules apply.

All race marshals and officials will control and supervise triathlon competitors movements ONLY

Officials and marshals WILL NOT interrupt general traffic flow, and competitors must adhere to correct ‘Give Way’ procedures.

Any competitor who fails to follow a marshal’s instruction will be disqualified.

DRAFTING DURING THE CYCLE LEG IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME, and will result in disqualification.


 

1. The official entry form must be completed and signed by the intending competitor. Completion of which represents the acceptance of all entry conditions.

2. All competitors are required to declare which race they will be competing at registration, those raced being championship or modified course.

3. Each race will offer a Club Championship course or a negotiable modified distance course. Negotiated distances may only be less than Club Championship distances. Some races may have group starts.

4. All competitors are required to attend race registration, which will commence 30 minutes before race start, and must attend the race briefing, which will be 15 minutes prior to race start.

5. Club membership fees are $30 for Seniors’ and $10 for Juniors’ with a maximum of $50 per family. This membership can be paid to the Treasurer in full or by the second race completed by an individual or team.

6. All competitors must complete a membership form and participant’s agreement form prior to their first race.

7. Race entry fees for all club races will be $10. Junior members (under 18 years of age) is $5 or maximum of $20 per family per race.
