Dubbo Duathlon Series – Race 1 Recap
Sunday 3 August 2025 | Cool start, clear skies, strong efforts all round
What a way to kick off the 2025/26 series. The breeze was light and the course had just enough bite to keep everyone honest. Thanks to everyone who came out - whether to race, cheer, marshal, or juggle small humans at the finish line.
Weather Radar: Crisp winter morning, light breeze, clear skies - ideal racing conditions once the sun came up.

And to Lucy Hunt (4), who showed excellent pacing and focus on a course that feels long when you’re little
🙌 Thank You Crew
Big appreciation to the volunteers, timers, marshals, and setup squad — especially those who were out there early when it was still cold. Whether you were cheering people on, handing out the snacks, or kept the mini course moving, your presence made the race work.
